Reporting to the Director of HR for Canada, in this generalist role you are a key player on several management teams throughout the organization, including our Canadian sales organization and our state of the art eco-brewery on Annacis Island, Turning Point Brewing Company.
The HR Manager is responsible for:
• Delivering all key aspects of HR, including compensation & benefits, training & development, succession planning, policies & procedures and recruitment & selection.
• Leading employee relations, HR and OH&S direction for the Brewery Operation and Sales Organization.
• Cultivating and maintaining positive employee relations, a motivated workforce and an innovative and entrepreneurial culture.
• Making presentations and training employees on new programs and initiatives.
• Staying abreast of and providing guidance on regulatory and legal requirements as they apply to people issues.
To be successful in this role you bring a passion for customer service, the drive to constantly raise the bar and the desire to grow and develop as an HR Professional. You have gained this through at least 5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, built upon your degree in HR/Business; a CHRP designation is an asset. You are passionate about building strong relationships and are recognized for your solid communication skills, including your confidence and flare in delivering presentations. You have experience leading HR within both a corporate and manufacturing environment and have successfully provided HR Support within both.
